Sundays are meant for staring out of the window, staring at a screen, or staring at a book. Instep gives you our top picks to get you through your end of weekend feels.
Listen to: One Voice Children’s Choir
Imagine the most radio-friendly tunes, sung by a group of angel-voiced kids. That’s it. That’s the whole deal. Whether it’s ‘Diamonds’ by Rihanna or an Ed Sheeran and Adele mashup, everything sounds beautiful and ethereal when delivered by this group.
Watch: Servant
Directed by none other than M. Night Shyamalan, you would expect something a little off the beaten path, and won’t vibe disappointed either. While to a point in Season 1, we felt like this story could have been wrapped up in a 180-minute film, by the end of that season, we realized why the plot needed space to grow. Not entirely horror, nor entirely supernatural, the premise of the show is mysterious, and will keep you hooked.
Bonus: Rupert Grint plays his role smart and plays it funny, and is a treat to watch.

Eat: Cake
Nothing makes us happier than cake, and while our degree may be in something obscure and artsy and not even a smidge scientific, we know there’s a correlation between cake and happy memories of joyful childhood birthday parties. Though they get taken for granted in Karachi, if you do live there, have something absolutely drowning in buttercream frosting from Pie In The Sky. The taste is always on point and although that’s all that counts, they do make incredible-looking custom cakes as well.
