The excitement at Gaddafi Stadium was palpable on Thursday night as Multan Sultans squared off against Peshawar Zalmi in the first match of the second leg of the Pakistan Super League. Since its inception in 2016, the PSL has been the most awaited event of the year with a nationwide following.
Based on public participation this year, even the Covid-19 has failed to put a damper on the event. Thousands flocked to Gaddafi Stadium to watch their favourite teams play. With a diverse line-up of local and international stars, Multan Sultans took the win, living up to their hype as defending champions.
