‘Tis the season to get married and why not winter weddings are always the best time to get married and not worry about melting makeup, wearing heavy jewelry etc. The wedding season is currently blooming in its full glory, and it seems that a lot of celebs decided to tie the knot before the year 2021 came to an end. A few stars that got married included actress Mansha Pasha, model Mushk Kaleem and then there was actress and photographer Zara Tareen, among many others. However, the latest to join the list of those who said ‘I do’ is model and actress Areeba Habib. But what caught our eye and definitely our fancy were the bridal outfits that the Jalan actress chose to wear on her five wedding events.

Rose gold heirloom – Shendi

The shendi ceremony was a star-studded affair where the model-actress flaunted an exquisitely crafted rose gold ensemble by Shehla Chatoor. The long, off-shoulder kameez was paired with a voluminous ruffled lehenga with a long trail and matching dupatta with maroon accents. However, she finished her look with a red and rose gold shawl-dupatta on her arm. She was dolled up by Natasha Lakhani who went with dewy makeup, fluttery lashes and a soft pout.

Bright and beautiful – Mayoun

Areeba Habib and Saadain Sheikh’s wedding festivities kicked off with the mayoun ceremony. The model and actress donned a vibrant mango yellow hue that was embellished with gold gota and sequin work with hints of dark blue. As for her makeup, she went with a no-makeup look and floral jewelry – teeka, earrings and gajray – to complete her mayoun look. She looked radiant, a prerequisite for a desi bride.

The classy red – Nikkah

The Jalan actress sealed the deal in an intimate nikah ceremony. For the daytime event, Areeba went the traditional route and chose to wear a classic Persian-red traditional gharara by designer Hussain Rehar. The outfit had intricate gold embroidery and embellishments. She accessorized her look with heavy gold and green jewelry by Ali Javeri Jewelers and definitely exuded regal vibes.

Pretty in pink
– Valima

Once again, Areeba shone in a Hussain Rehar creation for the last event, her valima. She chose a heavily embellished custom-made powder pink layered lehenga and choli with zardozi work, while the dupatta had a combination of geometric patterns and floral motifs. Her makeup was soft and glowy with pink lips to complement her overall look. We can’t get over how stunning Areeba looked.

A sari affair – Qawwali night

Areeba wore a simple maroon velvet sari for her qawwali night that seemed just a tad (read quite) similar to Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma’s engagement look. Though she looked pretty elegant and seemed to carry the sari with poise, Areeba even went with a similar hairstyle and jewelry. Well there is no harm in taking a little inspiration here and there, but we think a little originality won’t harm anyone.
