*Lahore Wears Masks, an interactive street art competition, organised by the office of Lahore commissioner, shall be held on Sunday (today) at 4 Dev Samaj Road, Lahore.
Start time: 9am.
The competition, which was supposed to take place on July 18 but postponed for security reasons, is part of the local government’s awareness raising campaign to encourage the citizens of Lahore to wear masks amid the pandemic. The participants are advised not to portray any negative political and religious views.
The total event prize money is Rs 225,000. The top winner shall get Rs 100,000.
Certificates shall be awarded to all participants. The required material and lunch will be provided by the management. There is no participation fee.
*6-day Acting Camp for Kids, organised by Ajoka Theatre Pakistan, begins on
August 3, at Ajoka Institute, Sarwar Road, Lahore Cantt.
Timings: 5:30pm-7:30pm.
This is said to be AI’s “pioneering acting camp.” The camp focuses on “speech development, creative movement, body language and awareness, group
cohesion and a variety of activities.”
Yusra Irfan will train the children under the supervision of Nirvaan Nadeem guiding them “through specialised games and exercises, towards developing a unique and fun-filled short play, staged in house for family and friends and livestreamed on social media.”
