*Marhoom Ki Yaad Mein, an event that will see the theatrical adaptation of Patras Bukhari’s humorous essays on three consecutive nights, opens June 18. Venue: The Farm, Bani Gala, Islamabad. Start time: 8pm.
The “theatre pieces,” as the organisers, Theatre Wallay, are calling it, have been adapted and directed by Imran Iftikhar. These are “guaranteed to send you into fits of laughter, something that is much needed in troubled times such as these.”
The idea is to pay “a theatrical tribute to the great Urdu humourist.”
This is an outdoor event. All safety protocols required for Covid-19 shall be observed. Because the organisers must maintain social distancing, there is a limited number of tickets available for advanced purchase.
Ticket price (advance purchase): Rs 1,200.
