With a number of popular drama serials to her credit B Bashar Momin, Alif Allah Aur Insaan, Balaa, Cheekh and Bewafa to name just a few B Ushna Shah has proven that she is a versatile actress. She not only brilliantly essayed the role of a beggar turned courtesan, Rani, in Alif Allah Aur Insaan, but also generated rave reviews for portraying Nigar, who crosses all limits to win her love interest, in drama series Balaa.

While she appeared in drama serial Bewafa that ended earlier this year, presently Ushna can be seen in family drama Bandhay Aik Dor Se, which also features Ahsan Khan and Hina Altaf in lead roles.

We caught up with the beautiful and talented actress to know the secret behind her smooth skin.

Beauty secrets revealed

The actress credits her beautiful and glowing skin to her good genes. However, Ushna also believes that Aworking out also helps  in achieving healthy, smooth skin. On whether she is fond of desi totkas or sticks to skincare/beauty products, the actress shares that she likes to mix them both. AHaving said that, I try to stay as natural as possible, she says.

According to Ushna what you eat certainly reflects on your skin, so she advises not to eat a lot of sugar or sugar substitutes as your skin will break out. ADrinking loads of water surely helps. When I do that my skin glows, she adds.

Hair care regime

On the secret behind her beautiful tresses, the Bandhay Aik Dor Se actress informs that she is actually a little bummed out by her hair these days. AActually, the stylist has cut my hair too short and I lost a lot of length, so now for the first time ever I have started taking care of it, she continues. AI make sure to regularly oil my hair. Apart from that I use serums as well as take biotin vitamins.

Ushna's makeup essentials

Speaking of her beauty essentials, she says, AI am not fond of too much makeup, so I wear minimal makeup, even when I=m shooting - unless the scene requires I apply lots of it.

She went on to say, AI have dark circles due to insomnia so I can=t live without a concealer. My favourite is NARS and I seal my concealer with Charlotte Tilbury photo finish face-powder.

Moreover, the actress shares that perfumes are her biggest beauty indulgence.

Beauty trends

As far as the actress= favourite beauty trends are concerned, Ushna Shah reveals that she loves lip and cheek tints. ATints keep life simple. Also nothing beats a classic cat-eye for that dramatic look. A trend that she will never go for is wearing blue lipstick B definitely a big no for Ushna.

Signature beauty look

We all love to try out different beauty trends every now and then, but more often than not we adopt a signature look that we find ourselves reaching out for on a day to day basis. And our celebs are no different. For Ushna, her signature makeup look is simple and natural. AI wear some tinted lip and cheek stain along with loads of mascara and filling in my eyebrows. For hair I just love tying it up, says Ushna on a parting note.
