Fashion Pakistan Week Spring Summer 2019

It was an uplifting week for fashion, with three days of Fashion Pakistan Week spring/summer 2019 generating some seriously good vibes in the breezy city by the sea. A change of venue took the show to the spacious and palm tree-lined gardens of Beach Luxury Hotel and set the stage for some good and some not so good fashion but an overall mood of success and positivity. Amidst the fashion forward and trend setting designs were star-studded appearances on the red carpet and runway, giving fashion lovers something more to obsess over. Cast of Baaji takes over

The cast and crew of upcoming film Baaji made an exciting appearance at fashion week on day three. Followed by fans were Meera, who will be making a high profile comeback to films this year, and Amna Ilyas, who is acting alongside the Lollywood diva in Saqib Malik’s debut feature film. Apparently an act recorded at fashion week will be included in the film so don’t be surprised if you see a known face or two on the screen.

 

Maya Ali

Maya Ali, who’ll be seen in her second film, Parey Hut Love opposite Sheheryar Munawar this year, looked picture perfect as she took the finale walk for Nomi Ansari. Maya is a Nomi loyalist and she looks radiant every time she wears his creations. Wearing a quintessential Nomi design, created in a kaleidoscope of colours

 

Sarah Khan

Starring in ongoing drama serial Mere Humdam, Sarah Khan is one of the prominent faces representing Huma Adnan’s design label, Fnkasia. She looked every bit gorgeous as she walked the ramp on day three at fashion week in Monsoon Bride, the brand’s latest collection that celebrates monsoon weddings.

 

Sonya Hussyn

To walk down the runway as a finale act is one thing but to take complete ownership is another and Sonya Hussyn, in a spectacular PinkTree Company ensemble, completely stole the show. She connected with the audience and danced to the beats of ‘Lar Gaiyan’ from Dobara Phir Se. She was radiant and gorgeous, a beauty we’d love to see more of please.

 

Asim Azhar and Hania Aamir

When Asim walked onto the runway for Zainab Chottani’s show, one instinctively knew that Hania Aamir wouldn’t be far behind. Fans were delighted when Asim, serenading his popular single ‘Jo Tu Na Mila’ was joined by Hania looking like a porcelain doll in red and they both shared a moment or two. It was cute, to say the least.
