Out with the old and in with the new! Let’s hear it for starting 2019 off on a very glamorous foot. We put together the best outfits of New Year’s Eve on our timelines for you to get some inspiration for your next event this festive season.
Mehwish Hayat
One can’t go wrong in a black gown, especially a strapless one that shows off your décolletage. Mehwish Hayat chose Indian brand Rebecca Dewani and paired it with minimal, classy jewelry. The best part of the outfit though, wasn’t visible - the feminine dress paired with military boots. With a picture titled "I ain’t no Cinderella, I don’t need no glass slippers," we know she had fun experimenting with her style.
Saboor Aly
Saboor Aly picked a black Sana Safinaz dress, which was another safe and classic dress choice. We do appreciate her pairing the dress with hot pink stilettos and keeping her hair messy and undone. The classic dress with effortless styling made the actress look fresh and on trend.
Sadaf Kanwal
The model picked a gray velvet Sonya Battla dress for herself. We liked that Sadaf Kanwal kept it tonal and paired it with a gray organza wrap and heels in the same colour. Keeping it limited to no print and some texture play gave the dress an updated look. We would have liked her hair up for this one though.
Sarwat Gilani
Sarwat Gilani wore a cyan dress by Sana Safinaz which made quite the impact with its colour. Additionally, the styling of the dress also works because it’s minimal but she did need a pop of colour with a clutch.
Sonya Hussyn
Sonya Hussyn chose a green Elan dress, which looked equal parts comfortable and chic. A bat wing dress is an unusual choice for New Year’s but we like the uncommon colour on her. It had flair and drama, and the colour was as festive as it gets.
