Festive season means there’s a barrage of social events lined up for each day of the week. While we’re struggling to keep up with the commitments, we are also feeling reinvigorated watching our timelines and all the looks people are putting together for weddings, dinners, lunches and so on. The best looks of the week are as follows.
Ayesha Omar
Ayesha Omar is seen wearing Tena Durrani a lot but the silhouette of this particular outfit looks great on her. Fishtail lehngas are not very common but they should be because they’re flattering. One sans any embroidery is also a fresh take on the look, plus the colour of the outfit adds to the festive appeal.
Alyzeh Gabol
Millennial pink is a colour that took over in 2018 and it seems that it is here to stay. Alyzeh Gabol put together a fresh day time look with an off-shoulder sweater in the colour and a white pencil skirt. The colours look great together and the addition of the belt bag keeps her look trendy.
Ainy Jaffri
Ainy Jaffri showed off her wedding season choice while attending Zoe Viccaji’s wedding in a fish print House of Masaba sari. We like that it’s been styled with pulled back hair and an ethnic necklace. It gives the look the right balance in terms of an experimental print paired with traditional styling. Dark eyes and light lips complete her look.
Rubab Ali
Rubab Ali has serious model off duty style. She wore a black coat and black stockings to a Christmas dinner which could’ve been just another outfit but then she amped it up with red boots and a matching red beret. We love how she took it up a notch with festive appropriate styling.
Hussain Rehar
Hussain Rehar, a designer who’s not afraid to experiment with his fashion, put together an orange jacket with a white turtle neck and athleisure inspired pants. On closer inspection, one noticed his shoes also had a zebra print accent. Rehar’s look is really working for us, especially since 2019 is being dubbed the year where more is more.
