In the lead up to Eid, promotions for upcoming films are in full swing. This week the cast of Parwaaz Hai Junoon was in NYC and the Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2 crew toured Toronto, New York and parts of the UK before stopping in Dubai. Load Wedding didn’t take their promotions beyond the border but they had a successful cross-city series of media junkets in Pakistan. Film promotions mean lots of style; here are our picks from the week!

Mawra Hocane

Mawra wore a sari from Shehla Chatoor’s resort collection for promotions in London. Hocane managed an effortlessly chic vibe in a sari that could be glammed up or dressed down for a day event, which the actress got right. We prefer her in more tapered silhouettes as opposed to skirts and ball gowns, so this was a winner!

Kubra Khan

The actress wore a printed one shoulder top with pants to the Dubai leg of promotions for JPNA2. Although a fresh summery print, the top was too long to look visually appealing. Shorten the length, close the slit and lose the pants – and it would be a whole other story!

Hania Aamir

Hussain Rehar seems to be quite a favourite for the actress who also wore him to the Hum Awards in Toronto last week. In this embellished blazer and pants, Aamir has kept her hair sleek and pulled back and eye makeup dark. Everything about the look works except for the pants, which desperately need fitting.
