While the Pepsi Generations Showcase was an odd and intriguing fashion show held by Pepsi Pakistan in Lahore, the city of lights saw a special screening of Adnan Sarwar’s Motorcycle Girl, the celebratory get together with the cast of Asim Abbasi’s Cake and the recently concluded

Celebratory dinner with the cast of Cake in Karachi

A celebration for the success of Asim Abbasi’s debut feature film, Cake was held at The Deli in Karachi this week and as expected it was attended by friends who have a sweet tooth (pun intended). People spotted at the occasion included Mohammad Ahmed and Hira Hussain, who play key roles in Cake, along with Adeel Hussain, Ayesha Omar, Tooba Siddiqui, Ali Kazmi and Sohai Ali Abro, who recently featured in Adnan Sarwar’s Motorcycle Girl.

Asim Abbasi’s Cake that won him the Best Director award at the UKAFF and is successfully running in cinemas across Pakistan and beyond, certainly merited a celebration!

Pepsi Generations Showcase

After launching its new campaign featuring Fawad Khan, Zoheb Hassan, Shahi Hasan, Wasim Akram, Reema Khan and Kashmir the Band, Pepsi Pakistan decided to bring the hype and hoopla on ground with a fashion show of sorts called the Pepsi Generations Showcase.

The cola brand partnered with brands like Leisure Club, Outfitters and By The Way to present exclusive capsule collections (designed around Pepsi’s corporate colours) at the event. Designer Ali Xeeshan also presented his street smart collection featuring model Iman Ali as the show stopper. Moreover, Reema Khan walked for Munib Nawaz, who also directed the fashion show. The highlight of the event was the mesmerizing live performance by Strings. Bilal Maqsood and Faisal Kapadia were later joined on stage by Reema.

Shaan e Pakistan brings Padmaavat designers to Karachi

The Fashion Soiree on Day 2 of Shaan e Pakistan that recently took place in Karachi featured Indian designers Rimple and Harpreet Narula, power-couple Huma and Amir Adnan, Komal Chawla, an emerging designer debuting this year and Reema Ahsan from Lahore. On the last day designers who participated in the event exhibited their collections at Pearl Continental.

Motorcycle Girl joins the Harley Group, Karachi

Adnan Sarwar’s Sohai Ali Abro-starrer Motorcycle Girl has been generating positive reviews ever since its nationwide release on April 20. Recently, Sohai Ali Abro took to the streets on a Harley Davidson heavy bike for a special screening of the Motorcycle Girl for the Harley Owners Group at Nueplex Cinema, Karachi. The actor was joined by other celebrities including Faysal Qureshi, Aijaz Aslam and members of Harley Owners Group Karachi among others.
