This past one week was all about fashion and Fashion Pakistan Week put out some serious monochrome trends in black and white for spring/summer 2018. We got our first dose of domino aesthetics at Ronaq Lakhani’s sundowner, which was extremely well attended by those high on style.

 

Sarwat Gilani

One of the nicest people in show biz, Sarwat Gilani was all charm in this black and white outfit created by Deepak Perwani, who she also walked for at fashion week. The length and flair of this outfit was just perfect.

 

Maheen Khan, Amin Gulgee and Sana Hashwani

Maheen stuck to her favourite black wardrobe, dressed up by a grey scarf that complemented her hair and red shoes that suggested that she’s still full of life. The red in Amin Gulgee’s beads and neckpiece caught the light in this picture, which was so well balanced by Sana Hashwani looking sophisticated in all white. The perfect trio!

 

Tapu Javeri and Ronaq Lakhani

Going for a formal look for the evening, Tapu Javeri stepped out in his trademark black wardrobe, this time a jacket jazzed up by a sequined floret of flowers. Hostess of the evening, Ronaq Lakhani breezed around in a very Cavali-esque animal print kaftan, looking effortless.
