The third edition of Pakistan Super League 2018 kicked off in Dubai earlier this week with stars from the world of cricket and show biz in attendance. Instep takes a look at some of the highlights from the event.

Brand ambassadors for Islamabad United, super stars Fawad Khan and Ali Zafar stole the limelight at the PSL 2018 opening ceremony. Ali Zafar made a grand, aerial entry into the stadium, followed by the teaser launch of his upcoming action comedy Teefa In Trouble while Fawad Khan’s star power couldn’t be overshadowed by anything, with his pictures and videos going viral all over the internet during and after the ceremony…

 

Hareem Farooq and Bilal Ashraf

Parchi star Hareem Farooq and Bilal Ashraf, who co-starred in Janaan, hosted the opening ceremony of HBL PSL 2018.

Ahsan Khan, Shoaib Malik and Neelam Muneer

Rooting for the newly introduced team of Multan Sultans this season, who won the opening match against Peshawar Zalmi, Chupan Chupai duo Ahsan Khan and Neelam Muneer were also present on the occasion. Seen here with team captain Shoaib Malik, the two were joined by Jawed Sheikh and Momal Sheikh who are also supporting Multan Sultans for the tournament.
