Fahad Mustafa and Mawra Hocane

The sequel to Nadeem Baig’s blockbuster film, Jawani Phir Nahi Ani, entered production with the first spell of shoot taking place in Istanbul, Turkey. Marking Mawra Hocane’s big screen debut in Pakistan, JPNA 2 will see her opposite Fahad Mustafa who is also a fresh addition to the cast that mostly comprises names that were part of the first installment. Hocane shared a picture with Fahad Mustafa straight from the set of the film in Turkey where they were also joined by Humayun Saeed, Kubra Khan, Sarwat Gilani, Uzma Khan, Ahmed Ali Butt and Vasay Chaudhry. The film is slated for a 2018 release.

Humaima Malick and Adnan Siddiqui

Gearing up for the release of her upcoming film Arth, Humaima Malick celebrated her birthday in a grand manner last week in Lahore to which she wore a customized button down belted dress by Erum Khan. It was a star studded event with celebs like Fawad Khan, Adnan Siddiqui, Urwa Hocane, Farhan Saeed, Imran Abbas, Asim Azhar and her Arth costar Uzma Hassan in attendance. Coming back to her film, the actor is currently busy with the promotions in Lahore while the film comes out on December 21, this year.

Ahsan Khan and Neelam Muneer

The trailer of action comedy, Chupan Chupai that features Ahsan Khan and Neelam Muneer in lead roles, launched at an event earlier this week. While expectations with the film weren’t high, the trailer proved otherwise; with action, comedy and romance at the heart of the film, the story looks interesting despite a clichéd idea. The cast and crew of the film – including Sakina Samo, Talat Hussain, Faizan Khuwaja and others – were also present at the trailer launch.
