It seemed like the entire entertainment industry had taken a flight out to London, well almost. Most of our starry friends had flown out for the ambiguous IPPAs (International Prestige of Pakistan Awards, which appeared to have everything but prestige value), and we confess that we did enjoy stalking their every move. Here are some of our favourite ‘off-duty’ characters, which we have to say look better here than they did on the red carpet…

Urwa Hocane

Urwa looks as fresh as a daisy as she poses in front of the London Eye, in what she captioned as the ‘mandatory’ London picture. We do insist that Urwa always looks dewy and gorgeous when she’s not trying!

Mawra Hocane

While she wore a white lace gown (which critics likened to a wedding dress) to the event, we really did prefer her ‘girl about town’ look. And we do want to know how she maintains her hair so meticulously, even when she’s traveling!

Farhan Saeed

The last time we saw Farhan Saeed was on Coke Studio in a hybrid desi-goes-dabangg look and we were not a fan. He somewhat redeems himself in this cool and casual style.

Humayun Saeed and Yasir Hussain

Humayun looks happy and why not? He took the critical and box office victory of Punjab Nahi Jaungi to London and seemed to be soaking up the adoration. Yasir Hussain, it seems, is touched by Humayun’s infectious joy.

Humaima Malick and Feroze Khan

Yes we did see countless images of the brother-sister duo at the awards but nothing intrigued us as much as this image of the two hanging out with Salman Khan. Salman was in London for some honour and we don’t know how these guys managed to hook up but we’re all ears!
