What’s a fashion show without the essential celebrity appearance and at fashion week, it’s not only the front rows but the shows that feature some of the hautest people of the moment. Some of them came thanks to Urdu One and their TV commitments and others were roped in because of their association with the brands. Shehla Chatoor brought in her favourtite muse, Ayesha Omar, who twinkled her way through. Sania Maskatiya (presenting a showcase for the Toni&Guy Hair Fashion Scout), brought out Imran Abbas and Syra Shehroze. Maheen Khan, also in the Hair Fashion Scout segment, featured a lovely Sarwat Gillani. Zhaley Sarhadi, Maria Wasti and Saba Ansari walked for Tena Durrani and that was just Day One.

The second day started with a power packed Wardha Saleem show, featuring some live singing by Zeb Bangash and an appearance by Osman Khalid Butt and Maya Ali. Nida Azwer brought out a very Nawabesque Ahsen Khan while a very lovely Hareem Farooque walked out for FnkAsia. Day 2 ended with a soulful rendition of ‘La Vie En Rose’ by Zoe Viccaji for Deepak Perwani who also roped in Wiqar Ali Khan and Sana Buccha.

The Ho Mann Jahan trio, Mahira Khan, Shehryar Munnawer and Adeel Hussain, brought the house down when they walked for Umar Sayeed on Day 3. They were followed by a radiant Amna Ilyas for Zaheer Abbas and Mira Sethi for Delphi. FYI, Mira Sethi always looks so apologetic on the ramp that one wonders why she subjects herself to it! Mehwish Hayat walked out for Zainab Chottani and left many of her fans wishing she had performed a little too. TV stars Faisal Qureshi and Aijaz Aslam stepped into model mode for Nauman Arfeen and that wrapped up a very happening, star studded Fashion Pakistan Week!
