London Fashion Week, one of the most prestigious events of the year, has just concluded. And Burberry demonstrated why it is still considered one of the best brands in the world.

urberry’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection show, held at the National Theatre, really highlighted the brand’s dedication to the arts. Props should go to British artist Gary Hume, a key player in the ‘90s YBA (Young British Artists) movement, who designed the unique set.

But he wasn’t the only one.

Under the creative direction of Daniel Lee, the collection beautifully merged classic elements with modern practicality, giving a fresh twist to the iconic trench coat by transforming it into capes, cropped jackets, and even blouses.

With military-inspired details, cargo pants, and oversized parkas, the collection struck a perfect balance between style and functionality.

However, the set and the collection didn’t veer away from the unmistakable Burberry identity.

A blend of textures — silk, linen, and leather came together to create a look that was both rich and refined. The colour palette featured gentle neutrals, mixing primary shades with secondary and tertiary variations to create a colour wheel that was quintessential Burberry but also went beyond expectations.

Muted brown, light beige, camel, off-white were creatively mixed with tones of olive green, burnt orange, and lavender grey.

To truly enhance the style, accessories like shoulder bags and clutches in different finishes, fashionable clogs, sandals, loafers and sunglasses were added to complete every look.

Echoing the art of subtle luxury, Lee focused on timeless, understated sophistication. Burberry’s notable check appeared in subdued tones and original form, subtly incorporated into scarves, belts, and bags — his distinctive take on the trend. Here’s a look at some of the timeless ensembles from the collection.
