eepak Perwani celebrated his 30 years in the industry by launching a flagship store in Karachi. The event was attended by designers, photographers, celebrities, and industry insiders. His success has continued as a designer with his ability to transition successfully from party wear to luxury pret and bridal wear as the market evolved.
The advent of social media and advancements in technology have made a considerable impact on the fashion industry. Like all successful entrepreneurs, Deepak has kept up with the changing times. He believes in evolving with fashion trends, market demands, and customer needs, citing the shift from heavy fabrics to lighter options due to environmental concerns. Perwani highlights a personal approach to brand culture, constantly innovating and staying relevant by incorporating cultural influences with a contemporary twist.
A case in point is his Jaipur collection, inspired by his sojourn in the city of Jaipur, which showcased his mastery as a designer and couturier.
The collection, titled The Gold Heritage Wedding Wear, paid tribute to the beauty of the Pink City with its timeless heirlooms infused with a quintessential royal aura and the majesty of its architecture. Coupled with the allure of ancient Rajasthani history, each outfit embodied vibrant hues, ornate floral motifs, and intricate arabesques of the City Palace, signifying love, tradition, and the promise of a beautiful future.

epresenting Lahore, the multi-talented Hassan Sheheryar Yasin (HSY) completed 30 years in fashion. In form that is true to his character, he celebrated this landmark with a spectacular fashion show. HSY showcased three collections: Trousseau, Couture and Resort. The event was well-attended, with celebrities, fashion industry insiders, and HSY’s family present to cheer him on.
The brand caters to a wide market including bridal wear, custom couture, and formal attire for women. His menswear collection is equally expansive, featuring sharply tailored formal suits, groom wear, as well as kurta shalwar, waistcoats, prince coats, and sherwanis in a variety of colors and fabrics. This diversity is one of the reasons for his success and longevity as a designer.
The dress code for his 30-year celebratory fashion show was white, and both the designer and several guests adhered to it. Even those who participated in the show wore white when they weren’t walking the ramp.
“I am deeply honored and truly grateful for everyone here and for the opportunity to transcend boundaries, exceed expectations, and showcase the best of Pakistani fashion to a global audience,” remarked HSY. Throughout the years, HSY has not only represented his brand with great flair but also choreographed numerous fashion shows, performed and co-hosted the Lux Style Awards, acted in television and film projects as well as hosted his own talk show (Tonite with HSY).
HSY’s 30-year anniversary show wasn’t about models showcasing individual collections with celebrity showstoppers. Instead, it became a runway reunion for the designer and his close friends. This focus on longstanding relationships was evident when Vaneeza Ahmed graced the catwalk.
