Lahore is home to myriad thrift shops. These come in all shapes and sizes — from pushcarts spotted variously around the city to well-managed online spaces. The most famous of these is undoubtedly THE Landa Bazaar, located close to the City Railway Station.
It is one huge marketplace set up in open air and has scores of stalls of not just clothing items but also accessories and things of common household use. By virtue of it selling branded items, albeit second-hand ones, at extremely low prices, the bazaar attracts people in hordes.
Landa bazaars get the most crowds during winters, when the inflation-hit public rushes to them for woolies. It’s got to be the flea market that out-flea-markets the likes of it anywhere in the country.
