A star-spangled horizon is what Lahore witnessed recently, in what seemed like ages. It calmed our nerves, as it had succeeded a long phase of smog-filled haze interrupted by an occasional bout of rain. Last week’s showers broke the spell for good, and also quelled our doubts about a lingering season of smog. Let’s hope the skies remain clear for longer this time.
