Spotting stars at Paris Fashion Week 2024

Some designers have ushered in old trends, while others have focused on climate change. However, all have made news due to the celebrities who attended the fashion affair, receiving as much media attention as the collections shown by the respective designers, as Paris Fashion Week concluded early this week.

Sienna Miller

Sienna Miller, one of the strongest actors in the streaming era, looked fashionable as ever at the Chloé ready-to-wear Spring 2025 show. Each fashion house had a theme for its runway shows, and for Chloé, it was about “delicate lace”. If you’re wondering how Miller looks so good, be sure to check out her work. We assure you, that you won’t be disappointed.

Joel Edgerton

Actor and director Joel Edgerton, known for his acclaimed film, A Boy Erased (still available on Netflix), was present at Victoria Beckham’s ready-to-wear Spring 2025 show, wearing a shrug with Beckham’s name written on it. If that’s not dedication, what is?

Nicole Kidman

How can you not root for anything Nicole Kidman chooses to support? It turns out that out of all the designers at Paris Fashion Week ‘25, the one that persuaded Kidman to step away from her busy work schedule was Balenciaga. She wasn’t the only one, though. The front row was filled with stars including Salma Hayek, Katy Perry, and Naomi Campbell, among others. Perhaps they can get together and shoot a small film while they’re there. It’s Kidman; she can do just about anything.

Rob Lowe

Several celebrities wore t-shirts that read “It’s about (explicit) time” in support of Rob Lowe, who attended Paris Fashion Week this year. Rob Lowe fans everywhere can rejoice, as he made it to the front row of Stella McCartney’s ready-to-wear Spring 2025 collection. He looked particularly sharp in a monochromatic black suit.

Greta Gerwig

Stella McCartney’s ready-to-wear collection attracted stars from all walks of life, including one of our favorite directors, Greta Gerwig, who wore a military-style jumpsuit and carried it like a supermodel. Given the current times, it seemed fitting.

Sofía Vergara

Known for her work in the Emmy-winning sitcom, Modern Family, and the more recent Griselda (available on Netflix), Sofía Vergara was seated front row during Victoria Beckham’s ready-to-wear Spring ‘25 show. As Vogue noted, a spirit of boho was present in several collections, including Beckham’s, and we approve.

Gwyneth Paltrow, Lenny Kravitz and François-Henri Pinault

Gwyneth Paltrow, Lenny Kravitz, and François-Henri Pinault were seated together at the Saint Laurent Spring 2025 ready-to-wear show. Women’s empowerment was a central theme at the Saint Laurent show. We’d love to be present with this group of celebrities and ask Paltrow (who was channeling an all-business look) about “Conscious Uncoupling”, elaborating on how the idea of an amicable divorce and co-parenting extends to considering one’s former spouse as a brother. A case in point: her ex-husband, Chris Martin. Perhaps we need a Marvel movie to provide some context.

Maria Sharapova

Former tennis player Maria Sharapova was also present at Stella McCartney’s ready-to-wear ‘25 show in Paris. She remains a legend, having won all the Grand Slams: two times at the French Open, one each at the Australian Open, Wimbledon, and the US Open. At the fashion week, Sharapova wore a diamond-patterned trench coat and blue denim jeans.

Jodie Comer

Producer and one of the main stars of the series, Killing Eve, Jodie Comer, was spotted in the front row during the Gabriela Hearst ready-to-wear Spring ‘25 show. This was a significant moment, as Hearst returned to the fashion capital after exclusively showing in New York in past seasons.

Juliette Binoche

Juliette Binoche, who was seated front row at the Acne Studios ready-to-wear Spring 2025 collection, looked marvelous. If you’ve missed it, watch out for her stellar performance as Coco Chanel in The New Look, a limited series that explores the roots of some of the biggest brands and designers and how they functioned during the Nazi regime in France.
