Some people have mistakenly assumed that Robert Downey Jr., known as Tony Stark (aka Iron Man) in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and an Oscar-winning actor for his supporting role in Oppenheimer, wore this cream sherwani because he was attending the pre-wedding or wedding celebration of Mukesh Ambani’s son, Anant Ambani, to Radhika Merchant.

However, this is actually a scene from one of the many MCU films featuring Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man. It’s a tribute to his many Indian fans. The scene was not filmed in India but was recreated to look like he was there. Now, of course, he’s traded the Iron Man mask for another: Doctor Doom. It will be very interesting to see how he transitions from a beloved hero to a notorious villain. As for the sherwani, Robert rocks it just as effortlessly as Tony Stark.

Nicole Kidman

Some might think Nicole Kidman has always been prolific. But considering the number of films and limited series she’s starring in, along with her executive producer roles, it’s astonishing how she manages it all. While Kidman admits she doesn’t fully immerse herself in method acting, especially when she’s not filming, she did for Nine Perfect Strangers, a limited series based on Liane Moriarty’s novel of the same name.

In the series, Nicole Kidman plays Masha, a Russian immigrant who runs an unconventional wellness center. She looks stunning in the white kurta and pajama she wears throughout the series, and we hope to see her continue this style in a second season. As far as character costumes go, this Eastern look suits Masha perfectly, and Kidman nails it.

Who doesn’t love a sari (if you know how to wear it)? For many actors, the look is often dictated by their roles. We’ve seen several Hollywood stars wearing saris for characters, but Julia Roberts looks absolutely stunning and completely at ease when she wore it for her role in Eat Pray Love.
