What is it about: Day’s events include a variety of panel discussions such as Palestine - Everyday Battles, with Dr Nimer Sultany, Ibrahim Bilal and Summayah Haleem, moderated by Osama Siddique; Diverse Narratives Untold Stories, with Mustafa Afridi, Kashif Nisar, Saife Hassan and Hareem Farooq, moderated by Simi Raheal; Conversations with Benazir Bhutto (book), with Zahid Hussain and Hina Jilani, moderated by Mehmal Sarfraz; A lifetime of dissent: In memory of IA Rehman and Asma Jehangir; and Dramatic Readings by Ain-Adab.

What is it about: Ajoka’s acclaimed play inspired by “true stories of the generation dislocated and tormented by the devastating events during the Partition of 1947. It is a story of shattered dreams and traumatic nightmares but also of the resilience of the human spirit. The play celebrates the undying human spirit and its ability to bounce back and find joy and hope in the face of hopelessness and despair.”
