imothee Chalamet may have been sho-cked by his tiny role in the Christopher Nolan film, Interstellar when he first saw it years ago but it was a long time ago. Since starring in Call Me By Your Name, the young actor has come far by working in a slew of terrific films.

He is, according to some websites, dating a Kardas-hian, who was previously dating a rapper. Chalamet, according to other sites is dating actor Zendaya, his co-star from Dune, who is said to be dating either Chalamet or Tom Holland (of Spider-Man fame). The world of young and beautiful Hollywood stars is full of gossip it seems.

But none of it has, thankfully, kept Timothee Chalamet from doing good work.

Dune 2 will release in November 2023 followed by Wonka in December, which is directed by Paul King of Paddington-fame.

But when you are Timothee Chalamet, even a fashion campaign you’re starring pulls in an Oscar-winning director like Martin Scorsese.

When Chanel zeroed in on Timothee Chalamet to be the face of their men’s fragrance, Martin Scorsese ste-pped into the role of director for a short film that is the ad campaign.

In an interview with Vogue, the young actor said, “I have some friends that aren’t as interested in the high-fashion space, but when I tell them I’m doing a short film with Martin Scorsese in New York, their ears prick up.”

Introduced to Scorsese via Robbie Robertson, a guitarist who has, among other things, toured with Bob Dylan, the experience turned out to be a unique one for the actor who is anointed as a fashion star to watch by Anna Wintour.

Said Chalamet about working with Martin Scorsese, “He lives and breathes moviemaking. The conversations we’ve had over Zoom have been super enthused. For him, it’s like hitting the treadmill.”

Not since 2004 has a director of such stature worked on a campaign for Chanel. Previously the record was held by Baz Luhrmann, who directed Nicole Kidman for the brand’s most famous fragrance, Chanel No. 5 in 2004.
