o describe his disappointment in the American fast food he had consumed up until the day before, Ahmer Naqvi, better known as Karachi Khatmal on Twitter and Instagram, looks to showering in Lahore as a metaphor.
That obviously was an analogy that we could not relate to at all, because living in Karachi means we think any shower is a good shower, specially since our entire existence during peak summer, pre-monsoon months is spent bathed in our own sweat. Turns out, Naqvi is simply talking about privileged countries like the U.S.A, which can tank whatever they fancy if you don’t heed their advice or orders. So he puts forward this pertinent question: if the fast food isn’t good in the country of its origin, aesi oppression ka kya faida?
Go through the entire @karachikhatmal feed, and find out where the best biryani is served in Karachi, or follow Naqvi’s international food adventures.
If you like what you see, you can maybe take a trip around town discovering the best food in Karachi, with his venture, @khanaymeikyahai. Now that you know about this, you know exactly where to take your expat friends and family during the summer and shaadi season visits.
