With apologies for that clickbaity headline, rest assured that while you can’t win a date with either star, you can get some of their tips for date night prep from them.

n a parching hot summer afternoon, Syra Yousuf and Shahroz Sabzwari sit side by side as they answer questions about their Eid ul Azha release, Babylicious. They have just completed a set of seven interviews, and want to break for lunch; however, when they hear they won’t be filmed for this particular slot, they relax and sit down again.
The trailers for Babylicious have been doing the rounds for a while now, and of everything we have ever seen Sabzwari in, he wears his character in this film so comfortably, that even the briefest glimpse into the plot endears it to us. Yousuf too comes across strong in the trailer, and has fans raving about her dancing skills, and of course, delicate beauty.
However, if you want to know more about Babylicious, this isn’t where the info is. What we do have is a peek into what going on a date with the stars of Babylicious might be like. Curious? Read on!
The perfect first-date outfit:
Syra: The first date is all about comfort. So I’d say a pair of jeans, and the top depends on where you’re going.
Shahroz: Well you want to look good, but not like you tried too hard. I would wear a fitted tee to show off my body, but not so much, looser jeans, sneakers, and a great watch. And you have to smell good. Effortless, but with lots of effort.
A signature scent:
Syra: I’m wearing a Juliette Has a Gun fragrance these days.
Shahroz: My scent is Aqua di Dora by Pana Dora right now.
The first-date movie:
Syra: 500 Days of Summer.
Shahroz: I want to watch something that makes you think - like The Shawshank Redemption - and take eight hours to watch it, and pause it and discuss what’s happening. The first date is really to see what the ‘date’ is all about.
Syra: And this is probably why I’d just watch He’s Just Not That Into You before leaving the house…
Their favorite Babylicious song:
Syra: ‘Mann Ranjhna’.
Shahroz: Same! Also, ‘Gha-zab Kurriye’.
The tracks are available on YouTube.
Why should younger/older audiences watch the film?
Syra: Well, younger people, because it’s relatable, it’s a feel-good movie, and you do need those in your life. For an older audience; you’ve probably been there, and maybe you’ll find something that explains your kids’ lives to you!
Shahroz: It’s a good movie, it’s a situation we’ve all dealt with, and it’s literally speaking your language. Why wouldn’t you want to watch it?
