potify has been on a spree of sorts, introducing promising artists and new initiatives, celebrating older ones while shining a light on some of the most streamed artists within the country.
To that end, the global music app that first introduced the concept of RADAR with Hasan Raheem being the first selection has picked another artist to follow in his footsteps.
Not a new name to fans, the second artist to make it to RADAR is the hugely popular Taha G. Like Hasan Raheem, Taha also got a mini-documentary that paints a picture of his life, which is directed by the multi-talented Zohaib Kazi.
On being selected as a RADAR artist, a humble Taha said, “I can’t believe I am the RADAR artist for Spotify Pakistan. I’m over the moon and still can’t believe it. I’m extremely grateful to Spotify for giving me this opportunity to showcase my talent to the world and show the world my story.”
Taha Gurwara, better known as Taha G, is one of the most interesting artists in the country. His track, ‘Dil Kay Isharay’ is still a success, a year after release, which shows how promising he is as a musician, experimenting with various genres.
Apart from the storytelling aspect of the documentary, it also features a new song by Taha G called ‘Naakay’ and is a doorway to his latest effort musically, an EP called Pyaar Bhi Kya Nasha Hai.

“The success that RADAR has granted artists is unique & enjoyable, as we’ve seen with Hassan Raheem previously,” said Khan FM, Spotify’s Artist & Label Partnerships Manager for Pakistan, Sri Lanka & Bangladesh. “We are excited to have Taha G as the next face for RADAR Pakistan.
The platform will definitely serve to amplify his recognition not just in the local space but globally as well.”
