Highlights of today’s events: the launch of Kuliyat-i-Iftikhar Arif, conducted by Abbas Tabish, with Khursheed Rizvi and Nasir Abbas Nayyar as panelists; Me Raqsam, a dance performance by kathak exponent Naheed Siddiqui; What’s New in Art?, a discussion with Rashid Rana; and Meet the Superstar — a conversation with Ali Zafar, conducted by Yasir Hussain.

*7^th Faiz Festival, a three-day annual event, opens February 17 at Alhamra Arts Council, The Mall. Timings: 11am-9pm.

The festival promises to “fill the air of Lahore with the flavour of art, culture, music, and literature bringing an amalgamation of theatre performances, musical evenings, film shows, art exhibitions, discussions, folk nights and much more.”
