To say that Netflix is facing competition is an understatement. Hulu, HBO max, and Disney+ seem to be giving the old Netflix a run to retain its clients, status and money, as the best online movie streaming platform. Netflix did the unthinkable by even weighing the option of airing ads, but this may bring about unprecedented repercussions for the company.

Despite the glum and low-spirited news of its viewer’s switching loyalties, Netflix has an irresistible list of shows – magnets that would draw you in and keep you enthralled. From classic masterpieces returning to Netflix such as Forrest Gump (1994) and Top Gun (1986) to Netflix Originals such as Squid Game, Stranger Things, Ginny and Georgiato Wednesday, all expected to have new seasons on the way. New seasons such as Italian The Lying Life of Adults, Danish thriller Copenhagen Cowboy, sitcoms like You People and sequels such as Beverly Hills Cop: Axel Foley remain to be analysed. As the year progresses, we will settle down with popcorn to review them.
