*Heer Goi Baithak on Sunday (today) at Hazuri Bagh. Timings: 3:30pm-5pm. The event, which is organised by the
Walled City of Lahore Authority, is about reviving the lost culture of Heer goi and sufi poetry recitation. It purports to bring together eminent Heer singers from all over the country.
Entry is free.
There will be special sitting arrangements for families and ladies.

Is a Pakistani woman fated for a life of servitude and oppression?
The play, which follows the journey of Bhaagan, whom the society transforms from a newly-wed bride to a mentally deranged woman, asks if a Pakistani woman must live a life of servitude and oppression.
This is one of Ajoka’s early plays; it was first performed more than 25 years ago. It has been revamped by students from Ajoka’s Art of Acting Institute.
Entry is free, and based on first-come-first-served. Children under 9 are not allowed.
