Funeral prayers of martyred cops held

FAISALABAD: Scores of people attended the funeral prayers of three martyred Patrolling Police officials here on Saturday.
CPO Afzal Ahmad Kausar and other police officers participated in the funeral prayers of ASI Imran Liaqat, constable Rafaqat and driver Muhammad Ishaq, who were martyred due to firing of terrorists at their police van. Later, the bodies of the martyrs were dispatched to their native towns for burial. Meanwhile, a case under 7-ATA has been registered against the attackers in the Counter-Terrorism Department police station and special teams have been made to arrest the killers.
