Rescue 1122 substations in Shorkot city, Cantt

JHANG: The Punjab Emergency Service (Rescue 1122) has decided to establish substations of Rescue 1122 at Shorkot City and Shorkot Cantonment.
Talking to The News here on Tuesday, District Emergency Officer/Rescue 1122 in-charge Dr Tariq Saeed said that sites for establishment of substations had been finalised by the Shorkot City administration and the Shorkot Cantonment authorities. He said that two ambulances, fire brigade vehicles, health technicians, firefighters and 30-40 rescuers would be posted at each sub-station. After establishment of the two substations, the people of Shorkot city and cantonment areas would be provided the best emergency services, besides decreasing a workload on Rescue 1122 district headquarters, he added.
