2 booked for abetting PO brother

CHAKWAL: Sadr police Tuesday booked two brothers on charges of abetting their proclaimed offender (PO) brother.
The Sadr police SHO on a tip-off raided the house of PO Rab Nawaz of the Warya Mal, but his brothers Ishtiaq Hussain and Mukhtar Hussain alerted him and he fled the scene.
ASI Zameer Hussain arrested both the brothers and registered a case against them.
DRIVE AGAINST ENCROACHMENT: The TMA Chakwal Tuesday continued its operation against encroachments on the Talagang-Chakwal Road.
During the operation supervised by AC Chakwal Musawar Khan Naizi and TMA Administrator Asim Jawaid Hashmi, the TMA staff removed encroachments from footpath and Nulla of the TMA.
The AC told reporters that indiscriminate operation against encroachments would continue until the recovery of state land from encroachers.
He asked the affectees to file complaints against the encroachers who sold the state land to them fraudulently.
The AC said cases would be registered against fraudsters who sold the state land and the land money would be recovered from them.
