LAHORE
A writ petition has been filed in the Lahore High Court challenging a 20 percent increase in medicines prices.
A lawyer, Ishtiaq Chaudhry, filed the petition stating that the increase was unjust. He stated that the rates of life saving drugs were increased which would multiply the suffering of the patients. He stated that there was no justification for the increase and it would increase the miseries of the common people who were already suffering from price hike.
