Over 100 get tea house membership

MULTAN: The scrutiny committee of Tea House Friday awarded regular membership to more than one hundred writers, poets and literary figures.
The body in a meeting also accorded honourary membership to senior citizens who met the criterion in a meeting.
The committee comprising Multan Tea House secretary Khalid Masud Khan, director information Sajjad Jahania, Prof Nasim Shahid, Raziuddin Razi and caretaker Syed Arshad Ali Bukhari examined applications carefully.
Senior writers Prof Dr Salahuddin Haider, Arshad Hussain Arshad, Shahid Zubair, Munawar Shahzad, Karamat Hussain Gardezi and Mian Ghulam Ahmed were also awarded membership. New members are advised to collect their membership forms from Bukhari.
