Three more victims of Nankana accident die in hospital

Parliamentarians visit houses of deceased, give compensation cheques to heirs

FAISALABAD: Three more people, who suffered critical burns in the collision of LPG tanker and a car, expired in Allied Hospital, increasing the death toll to 21. Haider Ali, Muhammad Ali and Hamid Farooq were also shifted to Allied Hospital along with 13 others, where they died.

NANKANA SAHIB: MNA Dr Shezra Mansib Ali and MPAs Malik Zulqarnain Dogar and Rana Jamil Hasan visited houses of nine deceased at village Mehmoodpura and presented compensation cheques of Rs 500,000 each to their families on behalf of the Punjab government. Lawyers of District Bar Association, Nankana, held funeral prayers in absentia for the deceased. District and Sessions Judge Qasim Khan, additional sessions judges, civil judges and people of all walks of life attended the funeral.
