Old Ravians Union grand dinner

The Old Ravians Union has announced holding of a grand reunion festivities for the alumni of Government College University Lahore, which include a festival cricket match, reunion dinner and a music concert.

The decision to organise these festivities was taken at the meeting of the Union’s Executive Committee Meeting, which was chaired by its President  Kamran Lashari.

Addressing the meeting, ORU Honorary Secretary Dr Khalid Maznoor Butt said former Old Ravian test cricketers and other eminent alumni would play for the Old Ravians XI a festival cricket match to be held on Friday, February 12, 2016 at the university’s Oval Cricket Ground where a large number of Old Ravians and their family members were also invited.

The meeting also approved invitation of the Indian Old Ravians and their family members to the Union’s annual reunion, which was scheduled for March 2016.  

Concluding the meeting, President Kamran Lashari said invitations must be extended to Old Ravians all over the world because these reunions were a golden opportunity for them to meet their class-fellows and batch-mates. ORU Executive Members Muhammad Naeem Tahir, Kazi Afaq Hossain, Asjad Ghani Tahir and Faiq Sadiq also attended the meeting.
