KARACHI: Pakistan’s teenage sensation Ahsan Ramzan will be making his debut in the World Games Men’s Snooker Championship 2022 cueing off at Birmingham, USA, on Wednesday (today).

According to the information shared by the Pakistan Billiards & Snooker Association (PBSA), Ahsan, at the age of 16, will be the youngest among the 16 participants from 14 countries entering the five-day event. Qatar’s Antoni Kowalski (18) and Thailand’s Taweeesap Kongkitchertchoo (19) happen to be the only other teenaged entrants in the competition.

The championship is being played on knockout basis and Ahsan will start his campaign with the best-of-five-frame pre-quarter final tie against Ahmed Aly Elsayed of the United States on Wednesday (today).

The PBSA has confirmed that Ahsan, the lone participant from Pakistan, has reached Birmingham, a city located in the state of Alabama, alongwith manager Abdul Wahid Qadir.
