Efforts underway for women progress

BAHAWALPUR: Punjab Minister for Women Development and Welfare Hamida Waheeduddin Monday said efforts were underway for the progress of women.
Addressing a meeting in Women Chamber of Commerce, Bahawalpur, the minister said the government wanted to give more jobs to women.
Founding chairperson of Women Chamber of Commerce Bahawalpur and former MNA Begum Sherian Arshad in said the government is practically working for the women empowerment. She said women of south Punjab have an immense talent particularly in handicrafts. President Women Aiwan Saanat-o-Tajarat Aisha Umer and project manager Mehwish Mohsin also spoke.
