3 dead in Faisalabad incidents

FAISALABAD: Three people were killed in separate incidents here on Saturday.
Faraz Ahmad of Thikriwala ended his life by touching electricity lines passing near his house over a domestic issue. In another incident, an unidentified labourer died when his hand touched a livewire on Maqbool Road. Saqlain Ahmad of Gulistan Colony was crushed to death in an accident.
DACOITY: A dacoity incident was reported here on Saturday.
Dacoits entered the house of industrialist Mian Muhammad Amjad at Block D, Peoples Colony, and took away his vehicle.
LAID TO REST: Scores of people attended the funeral prayers of wife of PML-Q leader Ch Zaheeruddin at Technical High School, Peoples Colony, on Saturday.
The notables which attended the funeral prayers included ex-MPA Ch Akhtar Ali Khan, PML-Q leader Ch Moonis Elahi, Punjab Assembly Speaker Rana Muhammad Iqbal, ex-minister Rana Farooq Saeed, Rana Zahid Tauseef, Ejaz Ahmad Virk and Rana Aftab Ahmad. Later, she was buried in a local graveyard.
