Youth country’s future: minister

BAHAWALPUR: State Minister Engineer Baleeghur Rehman Saturday said the youth is the future of the country and the PML-N government is making efforts to impart professional training to them.
Addressing a prize distribution of National Vocational Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC), the minister said so far the NAVTTC has imparted professional training to 25,000 youth. He said next year 50,000 youth would be trained by the NAVTTC.
He said in Bahawalpur division Cholistan Institute of Technical Education is playing a vital role in giving professional training to youth.
NAVTTC Executive Director Zulfaqar Ali Cheema said under the PM Youth Skill Development the youth has been provided professional training in several disciplines in Bahawalpur division and more than 2,000 youths have been given professional training in 19 government organisations under the 6 months training courses.
Director Cholistan Institute of Technical Education Brig Syed Muzaffar Ahmad and Director General Punjab NAVTTC Haji Muhammad Dogar and RPO Dr Ehsan Sadiq were also present.
