Karak police arrest gangsters

KARAK: The police have arrested a gang of eight gangsters allegedly involved in robberies and later the area residents staged rally appreciating the successful police action. A policeman said that on late Saturday night, the police arrested two robbers in Algaddi Karak area and on their pointation, the policemen traced a motorcar in the same area and arrested six members of the same gang including a woman. The police shifted the gangsters to an undisclosed location for investigation. Meanwhile, residents led by Khattak Ittehad district president Maulana Mirazqeem took out a rally to laud the arrest of the gang in Karak city and later gathered at Saddam Chowk.
