Defunct outfit man held with hand grenades

GUJRANWALA: The Counter-Terrorism Department arrested an activist of the defunct Laskhar-e-Jhangvi and recovered two hand grenades from him here.
On a tip-off, the CTD raided the general bus stand and arrested Waheed and recovered two hand grenades and sectarian literature from him.
TRAVEL AGENT REMANDED: The FIA arrested a travel agency owner with the help of Interpol from Saudi Arabia in a fraud case.
According to an FIR, Haji Muhammad Akram had collected money from more than 14,000 citizens in the name of Umra and escaped to Saudi Arabia.
After registration of cases, the FIA requested the Interpol for his arrest. On Thursday, he was deported from Saudi Arabia and the FIA arrested him from an airport. Later, he was produced before a court, which granted his four-day physical remand.
