Three women teachers killed in Haripur road accident

HARIPUR: Three women teachers of Government Post-Graduate College for Women, Haripur, were killed while four others sustained injuries after a vehicle rammed into a roadside tree here on Thursday.

Police officials said that a van, carrying teachers of different colleges, was on way to Haripur from Havelian when it met the accident near Baldhair village.Eyewitnesses said that three of the teachers of Government Post-Graduate College for Women, Haripur, identified as Aneela Kausar, Nazia Bibi and Asma Razzak, all residents of Havelian, were killed on the spot while Irum Naz, Saba, Ifra and Sidra sustained injuries.

Driver of the vehicle identified as Ajmal, resident of Havelian, was also injured in the accident.  On getting information, police and people of the area reached the spot and shifted the dead and injured to the Ayub Medical Complex Abbottabad where condition of Saba, a resident of Abbottabad, was said to be critical.
