This refers to the letter, ‘Toll question’ (January 26) by Sher Ali Khan. The writer has talked about the confusion regarding different toll rates – Rs140 from Islamabad to Rashakai whereas it is Rs160 for the same journey back from Rashakai to Islamabad.
The reason for this difference is the high toll rate in Punjab, which charges Rs160, while Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has not revised the tax upward so it remains Rs140.
