Man held for selling fake NISP forms

OKARA: A man was arrested for selling fake forms of the National Income Support Programme (NISP) here.
Hafeezullah of Samadpura was allegedly selling fake forms of the NISP outside the district police office in the District Complex when the people captured him. Later, the accused was handed over to A-Division police. A case has been registered.
NINE BOOKED: Haveli Lakha police booked nine people on the charges of resisting an anti-encroachment drive and attacking a TMA team.
The Depalpur TMA Haveli Lakha Unit chief officer and his staff were removing encroachments in and around the bus stand when nine persons, including Mukhtar Ahmad, Rashid Ahmad, Muhammad Iqbal and Munir Ahmad, allegedly resisted and attacked them. The accused also threatened the staff of dire consequences.
