CHARSADDA: A house was gutted when it caught fire due to electricity short-circuiting in the Shabqdar tehsil of the Charsadda district on Tuesday. The sources said that the house of a labourer Hikmat Khan caught fire due to short-circuiting at about 5pm. As a result, all valuables including two tolas gold ornament and furniture were reduced to ashes in the inferno. The local rushed to the spot and extinguished the fire after making hectic efforts.
