Toxic cake claims lives of two sisters

LAHORE

Two minor sisters died while the condition of three others was critical when they took a poisonous cake in Raiwind police limits on Monday.

The victims were identified as Amna, one-and-a-half year old, and Tayyaba, 4, daughters of Shahzad, a resident of Railway Colony. Police said the victims had taken a cake due to which their condition went critical. They were rushed to a local hospital where two minors lost their lives while the condition of three others was stated to be critical. Police have started investigations.
