2 sisters, their mother burnt alive

CHAKWAL: Two sisters and their mother were burnt alive when a gas stove exploded due to leakage of gas at Tatral village in the Sadar police area on Saturday.
Abida Bibi, 60, was trying to lit stove in her under construction house’s kitchen when suddenly it exploded due to leakage of gas. As a result, Gulshan Bibi and Faiza Bashir were killed on the spot while Abida Bibi sustained severe burns. She was rushed to the Kharian Burn Centre but she succumbed to injuries.
GANG BUSTED: Sadar police have arrested three members of an inter-provincial gang and recovered booty and weapons from them.
On a tip-off, the police raided and arrested Tariq Mehmood, Tariq Aziz and Pervaiz Suleman of Rawalpindi when they were trying to break locks of a shop on Talagang Road. The police also recovered cash and other looted articles from them. Further investigations are underway.
