CPLC chief gives idea for security of institutions

From Our Correspondent

OKARA: Security of educational institutions could be ensured with simple utilisation of magnet-cum-generator system, said CPLC chief Arshad Iqbal.

Talking to newsmen here, he said that the system required a powerful magnetic rod, two small generators and trained guards. A powerful magnetic rod should be fixed at the main gate attached with a sensitive wire around boundary wall leading to a computer inside the building and whenever any armed person came within invisible pull of magnet or sensitive wire, a computer inside the building would turn on sirens, he said, adding that a person holding panic button should inform security guards with immediate effect. He said that if any expert found any deficiency in this idea that could be removed with experiment.
